Credit for recognised prior learning
In certain circumstances, Monash may grant credit for subjects passed (with satisfactory grades) at other institutions if:
- The subject is considered to be equivalent in content and standard to those offered at Monash University and
- It is relevant to your planned course of study
To apply for credit transfer for previous studies, you must complete the credit transfer form (PDF).
You need to mail certified copies of all your official transcripts or results from your previous studies, plus copies of the subject syllabuses with your application.
You have to request credit transfer and it must be approved in writing, before you enrol. Otherwise, you may not receive the credit.
Please note: Credit transfer is at the discretion of Monash University faculties not Monash International Admissions.
