Hmm. Okie.
Pandu is re-scheduling the meeting to a later time, cos Jessica's new pc is not working.
Cool.
So I suppose that gives me more time to blog abt my impractical dream again. wahahaha.
put up with me. its my blog right.
anyway. yeah...i dunno if i shld be labelled as a 'desperado', one who looks forward to (or maybe even to the extent of being desperate?) settling down and all, when i dun even have a proper career yet.
wad the.
it cld be the family's influence over the yrs. nope, not that my parents cant wait to get rid of me. but the opposite, in a way.
Seeing how some families dun work out, and the tension and resentment that has harboured for so many years erupts with great intensity at many times, inspires and motivates me to work towards owning a perfect family.
my own family.
such an achievement. *winkz*
i will be so super proud of myself when that day comes.
many wld want to maximise the full luxuries they get to enjoy during their youthful yrs (20s to 30s), such as making more frens, late night outs, clubbing, pubbing etc etc etc. who wld want to settle down at such an early stage, to lose ur freedom and bound urself with the one person u r gonna face for many yrs to come. (well, theorectically, if divorce is not an option). but well, i wld. i wldnt mind giving up all those privileges in exchange for a down-to-earth life with my partner. moreover, getting engaged/married doesnt imply anything. it doesnt equate to a boring life. in fact, both partners can even enjoy more of each other's company while having fun with frens.
honestly, engagement or marriage, to me, is no more than a stronger commitment for the r/s. It's just giving it a stamp of approval with the exchanging of vows. it's a point of no return? hahah. to some, maybe. but certainly, im sure it's not tat bad. who wld be silly enuff to go to the point of proposing to ur partner with no confidence that things are gonna work out the right way?
argh.
stimes u just cant wait to grow older. (like how i am right now, wishing to settle down with my loved one) but sadly, when that time really approaches, u will somehow lament and wish a time-machine will bring u back to the old times.
*wishful thnking*
life is so full of contradictions.
oh yeah. i must quote this from yilin's blog:
'Nothing is permanent in life except change'
That makes perfect sense! not gonna elaborate anything more on tat. im sure readers of my blog can get a good grasp of wad i mean from all my earlier entries.
hahaha.
okie, better time out from here. in case, im called for the meeting/briefing anytime soon.
and oh ya! met Jackie on the bus while on the way to work this morning! had a nice catch-up session with her on the bus and train. :D
so engrossed into the things we were updating abt each others' lives that i was so reluctant to get off the train at richmond. :(
oh well. im sure there are still lotsa chances for us to catch up!
back to work gal!
