Have been playing with photoshop for the past one hr. really interesting to explore the many functions. but i still think i dun have the flair to be a designer, no matter how much interest i have in it. reason being, the tutorial is right in front of me, yet i cant even locate the correct button!
thats y im not studying designing. otherwise, it wld really have been a waste of money. hahah.
work today was good. had a brief session with Pandu and Jon (not my Jon of cos *pouts* ) abt marketing / biz development of friday etc. knowing how laidback auzzies generally are, it should not come across as a surprise as to how slack their working culture is in the office. but, not until i experience it personally, i wldnt realise how true that is.
i cant say for sure the working culture is the same in every big and small co. in auz, but one can certainly feel the difference between the working life here and in Sg. Phones do not ring as often; working environment is not as fact-paced; nobody runs ard the office like a lunatic, trying to amend things last min due to clients' dissatisfaction; papers do not fly ard everywhere in a mess etc etc.
ppl generally take things slowly. even when they are busy and have loads of work to do, they still seem to be able to relax and do things at their own speed. no rush. no hustle and bustle.
maybe cos auzzies are more aware of the harmful effects of stress (more wrinkles for the ladies, for eg); or maybe simple cos auzzies know how to enjoy life. taking things as they are. appreciate the small little things in life. no pt rushing sth when there is a high chance u mgt miss out important details.
hmm. maybe thats the reason y time passes faster for me in melb as compared to when i was working in sg. i ve mastered the art of handling things slowly and calmly.

i am generally satisfied with my work progress so far :) hopefully, i can see more results in the next few weeks to come.
Jon is abt to compete in his roller hockey league. all the best darling! wish i cld be there to give u a hug as moral support. ah well. here it is, ur virtual hugz (( )).

more work tmr. and then followed by some shopping to do in the city. jon needs his fone batt. and i will prolly just pop by at QV and Melb Central to keep myself updated of the latest happenings in town!
