I'm now in Matheson, trying desperately to rack my brain to make sure I haven't miss out anything to check on the web or any files to download into my mini thumbdrive.
Feel so helpless and hopeless at home. So out of reach from the virtual world. So isolated.
Even Lai is not at home. He just met up with me at Richmond to pass me the rent money.
Oopsy, speaking of rent money, I have to remind myself to draw money and pass it to landlord later at 8 sth. which is only half an hour away.
Stuffed myself with 'homemade springrolls' and some chicken rolls from 'The Meeting Point' in campus centre while listening to online lecture. Nothing much at home to eat for dinner. Prolly gonna cook some instant soup with the dumplings Helen recommended to me at Hong Kong groceries.
found some long lost colleagues from the times of Questxone (the huge indoor playgrd for kids Suntec a few years back) in the multiply network a while ago. It's interesting how technology brings people from all over the place together. Isolated communication in front of the computer with human relationships dun usually seem to go well with each other, but well, the virtual world has succeeded in establishing lost contacts.
kudos to the inventor of the internet!
but too bad, I wun be lucky enuff to enjoy this luxury until the next month comes.
